I received this gem from my boyfriend’s mom (we’ve been together 5 years) as a christmas gift a few years ago. She has always been a terrible gift giver, at first I thought she hated me but I’ve come to realize that she genuinely thinks the things she buys for us are great. Luckily she wasn’t here when I opened this lil 6”x6” shadow box because I actually wanted to cry. I know that seems dramatic but I knew I would have to hang this in my kitchen (I have a wine theme she thought this would match, it does not). I guess it’s better then a shirt i already owned (she’d seen me wear it repeatedly) and a movie I also already owned (that we had watched together lol). Since then she bought me a painting made of the stuff they make tin roofs out of and kitchen towels. I must keep reminding myself she means well. At least I hope so :-/
